This Privacy Policy explains how Data Wiseguys, LLC ("SocialSync", "we", "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use SocialSync, including when you connect third-party services such as TikTok through OAuth or API access.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to information processed through SocialSync websites, login surfaces, application pages, workflow tools, analytics features, traffic tracking features, and connected platform integrations.
2. Categories of information we collect
Depending on how you use SocialSync, we may collect and process the following categories of information:
- account data such as usernames, profile names, permissions, and login-related settings;
- workflow data such as prompts, templates, schedules, publishing settings, run logs, analytics settings, and profile configuration;
- media and metadata such as uploaded file names, descriptions, usage notes, storage paths, and media associations;
- integration data such as OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, account identifiers, authorization status, selected scopes, and provider metadata needed to operate enabled integrations;
- usage and operational data such as job outcomes, timestamps, error messages, and feature usage records; and
- website or traffic data submitted through the SocialSync traffic tracker, such as site identifiers, page paths, timestamps, and request metadata needed to measure traffic.
3. How we collect information
- directly from you when you create accounts, upload media, configure profiles, or submit settings;
- from connected platforms when you authorize SocialSync to access account-scoped features through OAuth or API scopes;
- from automated workflow execution when runs, schedules, analytics jobs, and publishing actions operate on your behalf; and
- from normal product operation, troubleshooting, security review, and usage logging.
4. How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve SocialSync. Examples include:
- authenticating users and managing account access;
- storing and executing your requested workflow configuration;
- publishing, drafting, or scheduling content when you authorize those actions;
- providing analytics, reporting, cost visibility, traffic reporting, and run-history features;
- maintaining service reliability, abuse prevention, and incident response; and
- responding to support requests, compliance requests, and deletion requests.
5. Connected platforms, including TikTok
If you connect TikTok or another provider, SocialSync processes only the integration data reasonably required to perform the actions and scopes you enable.
- For TikTok, this may include account identifiers, OAuth tokens, token expiry metadata, authorization status, draft or posting metadata, and other account-scoped data returned by approved scopes.
- For other providers such as X, Meta, YouTube, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI, SocialSync may exchange the minimum data necessary to support the specific feature you requested.
- Each provider processes data under its own policies, terms, and developer requirements.
6. When we may disclose information
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information in the following limited situations:
- to connected platforms and service providers when required to perform a feature you requested;
- to infrastructure, hosting, storage, analytics, or security vendors that help us operate SocialSync;
- to comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests; or
- to protect the rights, safety, integrity, and security of SocialSync, our users, or the public.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve security, maintain records of workflow activity, satisfy contractual commitments, and comply with legal obligations.
- Workflow configuration, logs, and integration metadata may remain available until removed, overwritten, or deleted.
- When you submit a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify account-scoped data except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect stored information. No internet or software system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so you should also protect your own credentials and connected accounts.
9. Your choices and rights
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of account-scoped data by contacting us.
- You may disconnect provider accounts from within SocialSync where supported.
- You may revoke provider permissions directly from the provider's account settings.
- You may request deletion by following the process on our Data Deletion page.
10. Children's privacy
SocialSync is not directed to children and is not intended for use by individuals who are not legally permitted to use the connected services and agreements involved. Do not use SocialSync if you are not legally authorized to do so.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version at this URL. Continued use of SocialSync after an update is posted means the updated Policy will apply going forward.
